For those who are in Fleet Industry, which do you use, the Asset Module or Vehicle Module to keep track of expenses / repairs, insurance, and details.

We’re running into the same issue.

We want the features of fleet but need that connect to assets. I’m looking into having an asset category auto-created based on fleet vehicles to keep that information synced while retaining the asset depreciation needs of our accounting department.

I don’t like the workaround but it’s the cleanest way I can think to keep them bound together without them being natively bound.

How will you handle the vehicle repair? Asset Maintenance of Vehicle Log Servicing?

Yes that’s the idea, anything related to the fleet, fleet maintenance, and vehicle logs will live in the fleet side. For assets, we just have a custom field we can “link” to the fleet side so there’s at least a reference to it.
