Attendance marking Absent for Holidays

Issue: Attendance Marking Absent for Holidays in ERPNext

For the past two months, I have been facing an issue where holidays are being marked as Absent in the attendance records, even though they are correctly mentioned in the Holiday List.

Current Setup

  • ERPNext: v14.70.3
  • Frappe Framework: v14.76.0
  • Frappe HR: v14.29.3 (version-14)
  • Payments: v0.0.1 (version-14)
  • SS Custom Erpnext: v0.0.1 (staging-14)

Is your site hosted on Frappe Cloud? If not, could you share your shift type settings?

Are you sure the holidays are mapped properly? As you say you’re only facing this issue for the past two months (from new year). Has a new Holiday List for the new year been created and updated for all the employees (or for the company)?

I verified the holiday list, It is updated for all the employees.

This my shift type for those employees.

Could you try mapping the holiday list to the shift type?

It might not work, Because we have different holiday list for the same shift type, We mentioned the holiday list in employee doctype.
