Is there a way to reconcile attendance when a shift assignment is added retroactively?
If HR fails to assign a shift on time but the employee has already started working under the new shift, the system may mark the employee as absent due to the missing shift assignment.
If HR later updates the shift assignment with a backdated entry, will the attendance records automatically reconcile based on the new shift data? If not, what would be the recommended approach to ensure accurate attendance records in such cases?
