Attendance with Overtime in ERPNext

I have a requirement to capture overtime with Attendance of shop floor employees. I am aware that there is a possibility to do this with timesheet, but just wondering if there is an alternate way if it does not need to be attached to a project.

Inputs would be helpful.

You can use employee attendance tool in HR module, you will need to add a custom field for overtime hours.
