Auto notifications

My Auto notifcations still do not seem to be working I have an email id set in my company where do i need to set my email for this as i have sent out a bunch of sales invoices, but have recieved no auto notifications regarding them.

The email notifications are sent to email id of customers contact. Email notification might not get sent if:
  1. Outgoing mail servers details provided in email setting is not correct.
  2. No email id provided for customers contact.

Please check the following:
1. Are you able to send emails by clicking on email on the sidebar of a form? If not, then please go to Setup > Email Settings and configure your outgoing email settings.


2. Have you enabled auto notifications? Please go to Setup > Auto Notifications, and enable the ones which you need.

3. The Customer / Supplier's contact person, which can be found in the Contact Info section of the form, should have an email address specified in the mentioned Contact Person's Record.

Please check and let us know if you still face this issue.

I am able to send email using the sidebar, I am also pretty sure i have the contacts setup correctly, and that they do receive the email.

Maybe i am mistaken about auto notification i was hoping to get a copy sent to my email address as well as the client, but maybe this is not part of auto notification. Example i send a sales invoice to a customer who has an email id setup in the company contact, when i hit submit they do get a copy, but i do not is i possible for me to get a copy as i would like one for everything i send to check formatting etc.

They are sort of there, but no attached html, so not what the customer sees i would basically like cc:copy of invoice sent ot me or a copy of the invoice to show up in communication would be great instead.

Hi Ryan,

When you send any mail from the system, communication record created for those email.The feature is already there in the system. You can check them by filtering "Category" as "Sent Mail".

Hi,

Is it possible to add the name of the Sales Partner in the auto notification. Since most of the times the notification to the sales partner is needed but the people forget to add them to the CC.
