Automatic updation of naming series

Hi, i want to update naming series of all documents with company abbreviation as prefix programmatically and this should be done during initial setup of new site.
If anyone as solution for this please help.

You can edit the tabSeries table and change the prefixes as well as the “current” (and therefore the next) number

Thanks for reply,i have gone through tabSeries table but i didn’t understood(what is current, what it tells) can u please explain it in detail.

@trentmu now i got to know that current field explains number of documents with that series name, but how this will helps for my use case?
