"Automatically Add Taxes and Charges from Item Tax Template" disabled for Indian accounts

I created an account for an Indian company. I want the items to add taxes from the item tax template, but by default ERPNext seems to be taking it from the Sales/Purchase Tax and Charges template. This is not suitable for us since we deal with products having different gst slabs.

You can use item tax template.
You can set item tax template in item.
