Hi there,

Sorry to bother but documentation is really lacking on how to properly backup everything and restore on another machine. Could you kindly update?

Go to Download Backups page in ERPNext. Download the backup you want to restore.

Run these commands onto your new site where you want to restore.

bench --site [sitename] --force restore /path/to/SQLFILE

OK. Thanks for the info. But what I don’t understand is if this will restore even all the customizations that have been done by my team. It seems these are not included as only see a file that is the database backup. From the wiki page it also doesn’t show how to backup the files but only how to retrieve them.

For customizations, you need to Export Customizations from Customize Form page
