Is there a way to put batch number and expiration date on the invoices of drop shipments?

Is there a way to put batch number and expiration date on the invoices of drop shipments?

Batch number field already available in the system, but can visible only when update stock is enabled. Only way to achieve this is using custom fields, add two fields batch no and expiry date which can visible only case of drop shipping.
