I’m evaluating suitability of ERPNext for our needs and I miss shipping (sea) container tracking. We purchase some raw materials (chemicals, usually in drums/bags) in China/India/… and deliver them to Europe in sea containers. Usually containers include different POs from different Suppliers. For container we need to track loading date, dispatch date, date of arrival to intermediate port, date of arrival to our custom etc, transporters, all transport fees, etc.
- Am I right it’s completely missing from ERPNext?
- Is it “workaroundable” for ERPNext beginner? (New DocType is OK, but it influences the whole workflow).
Without this part we can’t really start meaningful evaluation.
