Bench init awfully slow on VM (ubuntu server 18.04)

Hi all,

I want to isntall ERPNext on a clean Ubuntu Server 18.04 running in a VirtualBox on Windows host.
However, it is awfully slow!
It takes more than an hour and has not even finished installing…

htop shows almost no processor load and 700MB of free memory.

Anybody knows this issue/has a solution?

Solved this. It seems to be a specific problem of Ubuntu 18.04 with may VirtualBox.
Ubuntu 16.04 runs perfectly well.

Why bench init and migrate command running slow on ubuntu 18.04?? I have the same issue

In my specific configuration it was a problem of Ubuntu 18.04 running very slow in virtualbox.
With Ubuntu 16.04 in virtualbox it works perfectly…
