Bench installation problem semantic_version

Install / Update Setup

I install bench repository and install the requirement manually
I got than error ,
I installed semantic_version

Did you cd ~/frappe-bench? and did you use sudo for the bench repo?

that’s right I used sudo
pip install --user -e bench-repo

you could try this (but I don’t know if it’ll help)

sudo pip install --upgrade virtualenv

There were a few posts recently on the topic of pip environment, which may be useful
