Please give details of your host environment, is this a fresh install that refuses to run, or has bench start only now started to fail. You may want to redo your install or manual setup

it’s likely that yarn isn’t in $PATH. Can you check if bench build works for you or if yarn exists?

With this too Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]

For the record what say you please for all to benefit?

I tried many things, but bench is unable to start.

bench build

Please guide how to resolve this error?

Its happened many times and resolved automatically.

but I want to know the exact reason and solution.

Hi @umarless :

Probably bench is already running …
Seems you are using port 8000 … check if other process is using this port

sudo lsof -i:8000

Use kill command to close this process … Or just reboot

Other way is using this script, like a “bench stop” command …

Hope this helps.
