Bench update command stop process at backing up

Also bench update —reset not work

I have the same issue. anyone out here can help?

Any resolution to this. I’ve checked standard logs for errors but nothing

In my case, the reason was mariadb service has not started yet

I used the command
bench update --no-backup
Though dangerous, this allowed me to skip backup and update process managed to finish smoothly. There after I could do normal bench update
