Best Approach to Replicate a Module and Doctype from Frappe Cloud to Local Setup?

Hello community,

I have a module and its Doctype created on a Frappe Cloud site, and now I want to replicate this entire module, including its Doctype and data, to my local setup inside a custom app.

I haven’t taken any steps yet and would appreciate any suggestions on how to go about it. Specifically:

  • How can I export/import the module and Doctype definitions?
  • What’s the best way to sync the data from the cloud to local?
  • Any potential issues I should watch out for during this process?

I would love to hear from anyone who has done this before or has experience in migrating between Frappe Cloud and local setups.
