Best practices for meeting custom requirements

Rushabh,

I have been seeking to implement a software system(s) that integrates and automates the complete Business Operating System for my small manufacturing company.  I had just about settled on combining several open source systems (WebERP, VtigerCRM, OrangeHRM, CARTwebERP and other misc custom written Joomla apps for labor tracking, etc...) when I came across ERPNext.

I have spent some time on your site/demo and blog and it appears you are close to having a completely integrated Business Operating System.  I was also intrigued (pleasantly surprised) at your transparency and candor about some of the missteps and/or mistakes made along your journey.  While some might see that as a weakness I view it as a strength, how can a company correct problems and mistakes and grow if they are not willing to admit they exist.

With that being said, I still have to make a decision if ERPNext is a fit for my company.  I have requested the free trail and will be evaluating it.  In addition, I have a rather lengthy list of requirements we want our system to perform (if not now at least in the foreseeable future).  I would like to send it to you (or to the appropriate person) for your evaluation of which requirements ERPNext can currently meet, what work you have in the pipeline that will meet requirements not currently met (along with your best guess on time for implementation) and also which requirements would need to be custom built (if you do custom work or who you would recommend and an estimate what they might cost).

Please let me know where I can send the requirements document.  I am looking forward to potentially developing a long mutually beneficial relationship between our companies.

Rex
