Birthday Reminders still being sent

Hi,

We have turned off Birthday Reminders via HR Settings. However, we still seem to be getting the notifications. Kindly advice if there is elsewhere we might need to turn it off.

You can stop it from hook.py file.

Comment the following line from daily scheduler from hook.py file:

“erpnext.hr.doctype.employee.employee.send_birthday_reminders”,

Thank you. We would not like to touch the standard code, but that helped us locate where it was and might be able to give us an inside of what is triggered.
