We have added a child table named “BOM Approval Status,” to the BOM Doctype and it is working as expected.
However, in the BOM Comparison Tool, we are encountering the following error:
We reached out to Frappe support regarding this issue, but they informed us that they do not provide assistance for “Customization.”
Please help to resolve the issue.
It is your customization so it is your error and thus your problem only. Who may know what this field is and what it does to produce sych error?

You can’t do that for custom fields obviously.
