BOM cost update before purchase

Hi, can the BOM cost update without a new purchase of the material? Sometimes we need to update the cost of the BOM before purchase the material.

What’s the correct way to do this?

You can create BOM with manually adding the rate of the raw materials. or Rate Of Materials Based On can be changed to price list and then the rates will be added from price list. Later you can change it to valuation rate/last purchase rate
