BOM for cutting sheet

Hi
I want to use BOM for a small wood-work project. I need 60 small blocks cut from a big sheet. One big sheet yields 50 smaller blocks.

Lets say…
Item-S = small block
Item-B = big sheet

The way I see it I have two options …
Option 1
Output item = Item-S , qty 50 , input-item = 1 x Item-B

Option 2
Output item = Item-S , qty = 1 , input item = 0.02 x Item-B

Yes ?

Option 1: You can make 50 small blocks from 1 big sheet at once. This is good if you always cut 50 blocks at a time.
Option 2: You can cut 1 small block at a time and use 0.02 of a big sheet for each. This is good if you cut different numbers of blocks.

Choose Option 1 if you want to make all 50 blocks in one go, and Option 2 if you need more flexibility.
