[Bug] Form Field Values Disappear While Typing in Lead Doctype – No Console Errors

Hi Team,

I’m facing a strange issue while using Frappe CRM, specifically in the “Create Lead” modal.

Whenever I enter data (like First Name, Email, Mobile, etc.), the field values immediately disappear as soon as I type them or shift focus. This happens even before saving the document.

Here are the details:

Issue Summary:

  • Fields like First Name, Email, Mobile No are auto-cleared while typing
  • This happens inside the Create Lead modal popup, not the full form
  • Sidebar (Details section) values like Course, Source, and Lead Owner still show up properly (screenshot attached)
  • No console errors
  • No failed API requests
  • Network tab shows normal traffic
  • Form loads fine otherwise

###Troubleshooting Done:

  • Checked for Custom Scripts affecting the Lead Doctype — nothing seems to reset values
  • Verified no incorrect Depends On / Fetch From configurations
  • No auto-fill or browser extension conflicts (tested incognito too)

Environment Info:

  • Product: Frappe CRM
  • Deployment: Production
  • Frappe Version: 16.0.0-dev
  • OS: Windows 11

I’ve attached a screen recording showing the issue. Screenshots of the Create Lead modal and the Details sidebar are also included for reference.
