Calculate Child table fields when parent doc custom field trigger or form load

Dears,
Parent Doc type: Packing Slip
Child Table: Packing slip item

I need parent doc type form onload / parent field trigger like ‘get items/delivery note’ then child table fields of qty and net weight multiplied and that values set to Total_weight.
kindly help.
