Can any body give step by step installation of ERPNext on ubuntu 16.04 server

I am newbie to ERPNext. I have installed ERPNext freppe on in root and when i try to access it i am getting an error. where to access the site btw. thanks & regrads

i have installed the ERP fine. But i am not able to access it…

Go to frappe-bench directory and use bench start command then you can access the site on http://localhost:8000

this is the error i am getting. i installed erpnext on remote server. which ip i have to go for accessing site?
are there any prerequisites? i have not installed nginx.

When i try to reinstall erp from easy install i am getting this error:-

Could you please tell me whether you are using Erpnext for development or for production ?
These are prerequisite for production and development (must):

  • Python 2.7
  • MariaDB 10+
  • Nodejs
  • Redis

While these are optional one:

  • Nginx (for production)
  • wkhtmltopdf with patched Qt (for pdf generation)

For production. I have installed all the dependencies as above. i m about to install freppe/erpnext on server. I have few questions. can you please add me to skype (vassu008) to discuss on this in real time

And your first error is because there are already processes bind with ports. This generally happens because of stopping the bench improperly. To resolve this issue you can use the following commands:
To kill a process on specific port (8000):
sudo lsof -t -i tcp:8000 -s tcp:listen | sudo xargs kill

i have stopped my remote server by using sudo reboot. Now i can not access it. :confused:
