Can I add custom feature to my ERPNext hosting

I have an ERPNext hosting and am looking at adding new feature to it. The feature is basically a significant customization that needs to be done for a client. Is it possible to add a feature to my ERPNext hosting?

If yes, then how will I be able to get access to the code to make changes to it?

best way is to send a pull request and get it released in the next version.
