Can I create a Project From Quotation

Hello ERPNext team,
Been using your product for a while, and really like it.
Our process is Lead → Opportunity → Quotation ->Project → Invoice
Two questions I really have here :

1- Can I create a Project from a Quotation the same way you can do it on the Sales Order Dashboard ?

2- We really have no use for Sales Order, would it be ok to remove that Doctype?

Please advice.

If you don’t see any options in the menu buttons to create project from quotation, it means there isn’t a way of doing it at present. However it can be done by adding some hooks(have tried only in a custom app).

You certainly have many more doctypes that are not used in your setup. So why remove any of them? Just don’t use them.
