Hello, I will use erpnext for the management of a company, but I wonder if I can create and publish more than one website using only erpnext’s own mechanism. I will use a single erpnext. In my research, multiple erpnexts are created from frappe, but this is not my purpose.
I will be very happy if you inform me about this issue.
Best regards…
As per my understanding, managing multiple websites with separate configurations directly from the UI is not possible without customization. The default setup only allows for one set of Website Settings for a single website, so if you want to manage multiple websites, it would require custom development or workarounds.
Without customization, It do not natively support the feature you’re looking for.
But you can build multiple pages and set it according, you must know that.
That’s interesting because ERPNext allows for several companies to be rolled into one central data hive (accounting), but then these different companies managed under one accounting app cannot have their own websites managed (according to their respective company attribution) by that one ERP system containing the accountings.
So it can track the company-superstructure (for the subordinate companies) but not an overall web system (for all the different subordinate companies).
That looks like an inconsistency in the arrangement of the structural hierarchies.
Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing or if “it depends”.
Anyway, the toolbox made it so far already, so it doesn’t seem to be a very big problem.
First of all, thank you for your answer.
I actually wanted to express this;
For example, I have a company called A, I use Erpnext for company A. But I want to create and publish other websites. For example, I want to create and publish two separate websites about apples and dogs. Let’s say they have addresses like www.applesxyzz.com and www.dogsxyzz.com. Do you think this is possible?
