on checking the link

Easy Install

This is an opinionated setup so it is best to setup on a blank server.
Works on Ubuntu 14.04 to 16.04, CentOS 7+, Debian 7 to 8 and MacOS X.

On this link It shows required centos 7+ , I have centos 6.8

You will most probably getting errors while installing on CentOS 6.x.x with easy install. You can also try manual install.
If you are ready to shoot at errors. Go for it.

can I install manually in centos 6.8

Hi, CentOS 6 is a bit of a pain to work with, because it has a lot of old versions of the dependencies we need. For Eg, it comes with Python 2.6, and we need 2.7. To get 2.7 on CentOS, you have to actually compile it from source

I recommend using CentOS 7, our easy installer works perfectly on that.
