There is an option for “Make Material Request” but if it is a in-house manufactured item and not a purchase item, can’t there be an option for creating a production order??

My understanding is that a BoM is required first. Then a Production Order can be created.

Yeah, at the moment, a Production Order is required. But its an interesting suggestion to allow to create a Stock Entry directly from a Sales Order. Will add it to GitHub Issues as a Feature Suggestion.
