Can i self hosted erp next?

Hello,

I am interested in this software, but I want to self-host it on my server. Is that available? I couldn’t find any download link, but at the same time, I heard that it is free and open-source software.

Please advise.

Yes, you can.

Hi Raied

Try this method first - Unattended Install Script for ERPNext. Should work with either Ubuntu or Debian.

Just don’t say yes to the module (HRMS) it offers to install at the end - best to do that after.

Any issues - Let us know.

Yes you can self host it and its totally open source - frappe.

Search the installation guide which you will find on the official frappe and just run the commands and install all the dependencies.

If you face any problem regarding installation feel free to ask more questions !!

I have added the installation link which you can use.

Thank you

Go ahead bro, join our struggle, we can do it together :muscle:t2:

Thank you all for your responses.

My server is currently running on AlmaLinux. Would that be compatible, or is a Debian-based server required?

Hello,

Could you help me to avoid this error massage? I tried for mnay days on different system, Hyoer-V and Virtualbox to execute bench init version-15 with getting the error http2 not closed nicely and get stuck with missing data

Are you using a VPN, Github sometimes doesn’t like VPN connections. Let me know if you solved it.

Yes, absolutely, ERPNext is open-source software, and you can self-host it on your own server without any licensing fees. You can find the source code on GitHub or use the installation scripts provided by the ERPNext community.

That said, setting it up and maintaining it can get a bit technical — especially when it comes to updates, security patches, and performance tuning. If you’d prefer a smoother experience, AccuWeb.Cloud offers pre-configured ERPNext cloud hosting. It’s optimized, scalable, and ready to deploy in minutes.

You’ll get full root access, automated backups, high availability, and 24/7 human + AI support, so you can focus on running your business while the platform handles the infrastructure side.

It’s a great middle ground between full control and hassle-free management.

after many tries, yes I got things working.
