Can I use mysql instaed of mariadb

Hi All,

Can anyone suggest how to change my configuration to switch from MariaDB to MySQL?
Does it impact anything on application and performance…?
Good to use MySQL or MariaDB

ERPNext will simply connect to the DB on port 3306 and doesn’t [generally] detect (or care) if it’s mysql or mariadb - with very few exceptions (there’s a minor adjustment to password types in the setup, but this is a mysql/mariadb difference, rather than anything to do with ERPNext).
