Cannot create a Journal Entry with Opening Entry Type

Hi,

I am trying to pass an opening balance entry through JE, when I select the Party Type as Member and move to selecting Party Field, I receive this error:

Now, my immediate action at this point was to provide the account user the Party Type DocType with member as an entry to be allowed. Please see the screenshot below:

However, nothing helps. If I am doing something wrong, please point me to the right direction or suggest a solution.

You need to give write and create permission as well
