I already check list fieldname in doctype but noting duplicate fieldname

If you add a custom workflow_state field then remove it and check it.
if i remove it, how about my data in workflow_state? is going to remove too?

If have data in doctype, so
you can disable the workflow and check it.
But make sure, first, take a backup and try the scenario.
