Can't access ERPNext from web after lets-encrypt

Hello everyone,

I have a fresh install of ERPNext with a fresh site which works fine until I try to use bench setup lets-encrypt [sitename]. I can still login from the host computer and ERPNext works normally. However, when I try to use the same url on another computer I get this :

This site can’t be reached took too long to respond.


  • Checking the connection
  • Checking the proxy and the firewall
  • Running Windows Network Diagnostics


I used the same url before and after encrypting.

I’m not sure where to look for this kind of problem and there doesn’t seem to be any errors in the logs.

Any help is appreciated.

Welp, I found my mistake.

Port forwarding for port 443 wasn’t set up. Everything seems to work as it should now.
