Can't open on android phone

Hi


Congratulations to the erpnext team for the major update.

I am having an issue though. It seems to be working fine on windows and ios (ipad) however when I open it on my android phone all I see is “erpnext” and “image/svg+xml” overlapping each other.
It doesn’t move beyond it. How do I fix it. I have cleared cache on phone and in erpnext several times.

Which version of android are you using? Which browser are you using on android?

Am using gingerbread 2.3.6. Have tried in both android default browser and opera.

Hi Satish,

Then I suppose, the gingerbread browser doesn't support modern technologies like HTML5 LocalStorage.

We have test this on Android 4.0+ and it works. Maybe you can try some other browser like Dolphin or Firefox.

Yups. I could open it on newer android version. 

Is there anything I could do to make it work on old version??

Try using other browsers like Dolphin/Firefox.

If you could figure out a way to get us the error trace, we could try to fix it.
