Change custom filed value on change of qty

Hello,

I have added one custom field in item table and on change of qty i want to calculate some data and assign that value to custom filed. But it overwrites the default qty change event.
I want my custom calculation to work along with that default event.

Please Help.

Can you share some more specific details about your problem, like which doc type?, formula? and source code…etc.
