Hi All,
I am new in ERPNext and I want to update the UI in ‘New Stock Entry’ i.e changes in the Purpose dropdown.
I’ve tried to to changes in ‘stock_entry.json’ in /home/frappe/frappe-bench/apps/erpnext/erpnext/stock/doctype/stock_entry location and reboot the bench but it is not reflecting.
Please help.

Hello Ravi !
Please don’t make any changes directly in JSON. ERPnext allows customizations to doctypes via Customize Form. Please make sure to make the JSON as it was.
The same advice I would give for also the database.
Also, please note that once you add a purpose to stock entry, you will have to take care about various account heads that will need to be specified for each item. Hence plan this accordingly.
