Wondering if there is a way to change the ‘link’ text populated in a linked field? I’d like the customer’s name to be in the field instead of the doctype name.
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Cheers.
Enable the show title in link fields option in Customize Form and check:

Note that the change is system wide
