Change the naming series of core doctype

I want to change the naming series of core doctype like Employee from HR-EMP-### to my choice like SCI-01-232232

Please any help on how I can go about this.

You can use the „Customize Form“ Tool for this.

Find the field ‘series’ in the respective DocType and add what you want to have.

Go to Naming Series, select Employee and deleted and replace HR-EMP- with SCI-01-#### or whatever you wish it to be.

Update once done.
