Child Table Fields Not Available in CRM Portal Page Filter (Only in Desk)

Hi everyone,

I have a child table (Todays Followups) inside a custom DocType linked to CRM Lead.

Issue:
Child table fields (like next followup date, status) show up in filters on the Desk view, but not in the CRM Portal page.

However, normal Data fields added to the parent DocType do appear in portal filters.

Question:
How can I enable filtering by child table fields in the portal?

Goal:
Allow CRM portal users to filter leads based on child table fields.
