We make ice cream in batches. Each batch will get a unique ID and expiry date. Sometimes, a batch leads to a fractional number of tubs, whereas we can’t fill the last tub completely, but only half/partially full.
To not waste that half tub, we complete that remaining amount at a later stage with a different batch produced later of the same flavour.
Is there a way, to record somewhere the fact, that this tub has products from two different batches for traceability of the item?
I understand that it is a bit a special case, but it happens quite regularly, and it would be helpful to have that information recorded.
