Comunications vs Email

Hi to all,
anyone can tell me what the difference from email and comunication, and if there is a way to avoid that incoming email from a user account are saved also as comunications?


Communication includes everything whether that’s email or user comment or any other communication type. Communication is basically the superset of emails.

Ok, so everytime I send or receive an email, the notification number increase, and after i read the email, the notification don’t disappear, this is due to the comunication creation?
Is a there a way to close the notification after that email is read?

I think the notification comes from the status of that particular records. This is set by the status updater function and isn’t linked with the read status of a particular email.
