ERPNext Projects works well for general use cases, but we found gaps when using it for construction projects—especially around BOQs, site-level tracking, subcontractors, and cost control.
Based on real project requirements, we are building a Construction Management solution on top of ERPNext focused on:

BOQ & Material Planning – budgeted vs actual tracking

Daily Site Reports – manpower, equipment, and material usage

Labour & Timesheets – cost tracking against project budgets

Subcontractor Management – work orders, progress tracking, and payment workflows
-
Central Dashboard – project-level cost and progress visibility
The goal is to keep everything fully integrated with ERPNext rather than using external tools.
