Construction Management for ERPNext – BOQ, Site Reports & Subcontractor Workflow

Hi everyone,

ERPNext Projects works well for general use cases, but we found gaps when using it for construction projects—especially around BOQs, site-level tracking, subcontractors, and cost control.

Based on real project requirements, we are building a Construction Management solution on top of ERPNext focused on:

  • BOQ & Material Planning – budgeted vs actual tracking

  • Daily Site Reports – manpower, equipment, and material usage

  • Labour & Timesheets – cost tracking against project budgets

  • Subcontractor Management – work orders, progress tracking, and payment workflows

  • Central Dashboard – project-level cost and progress visibility

The goal is to keep everything fully integrated with ERPNext rather than using external tools.

Hi, This is a great and much needed app. Construction is a complex business. It needs careful planning to build a CM app.
