How consumables are managed in erpnext?

“Is there a consumables management feature in ERPNext, similar to asset management, that allows me to track and locate consumables?”
This is for fixed asset management right.? My question is about consumable tracking and locating
Consumables are the same as any other inventory.
However you do not sell them, you consume them.
When you consume, issue them out via Stock Entry with Stock Entry Type Material Issue
By default the system will debit the cost to the deafult cost of goods GL in the P&L
If you want it to be debited to a specific GL, either add this GL to the Item in the Item master (Accounting Tab- Item defaults) or you can change this in the item table in the stock entry doctype on a transaction by transaction basis.
