Because Frappe is moving away from the monolith, i think it would still be very useful to make all the apps talk to each other by accessing the same doctype’s across the framework.
Therefore i though it would be a nice addition to separate the contacts list from the CRM and create a specialised Contacts app that is a basic add on and common dependency for apps in the framework. In this app allows for centralised management of contacts and shows all linked doctypes. Next to that, this app encapsulates organizations and their data as well, so contacts can be linked to organizations. This should be a great addition.
Any people at frappe intrested in this. It is quite a core functionality so it wouldn’t make sense to create it on my own.
