The Expenses Claim not work with cost center, even I set up the budget and assign the cost account.
The Expenses Claim with value above the assigned budget is submitted and JV is created (shall be stop).
Please check if this issue replicated in test account too or not???
My version is 8.0.25
This seems to be working fine in the test account. Got a error message if the value of the expense claim is more then that of the budget.
Would you mind sharing further details on the issue for us to be replicate with the exact steps.
My case I have the project called X and the execution period of project is 25 days and the estimated budget is 12000 $
I did all the steps of setting up budget but I did not set the monthly budget (as this project less one month).
the action of cost center working fine with Purchase Invoice and stop submit of purchase invoice if the value of P.I more than budget but with Expenses Claim the action of cost center not working and not stop submit of Expenses Claim if the value of E.C more than budget.
Note: when create the Expenses Claim from project x dashboard, the Expenses Claim not fetch the assigned project cost center.

please share the screenshot of Budget created for Project. And where is that Project/Cost Center selected in the Expense Claim?
Hii @umair thanks for reply I recognized the issue and solved, the Expense Claim Type account was not matched with assigned budget account.
But there is another issue when create the Expenses Claim from project x dashboard, the Expenses Claim not fetch the assigned project cost center. please see the following screenshots:
