Could not find Row #1: Target Warehouse // New Item , Company changed

Hello dear reader.

Company A has been deleted. A new company runs under the abbreviation B.

Error when saving form New Item:
“Could not find Row #1: Target Warehouse: Warehouse - A”

How do you handle this? Are there more issues on their way from the company change?

Couple of ideas that might help.

  • Open the configuration page for Company B, and verify all the default values are correct.
  • Do the same for Stock Settings
  • Frappe/ERPNext tends to cache a lot of values. It may help to clear your cache (bench clear-cache) and then restart the web server.

Solution is in Stock Settings.
The Default Warehouse needs to be updated manually.
