Create custom receiver lists with SMS gateway

Good day

Could someone perhaps assist on how to create customer receiver groups on the SMS Center. If possible to add a custom field on the customer detail page or work via the client’s territory. It will help immensely rather than specifying customers manually or all the customers.

We are looking into using it for notifications for outages in the IT industry and need to specify which area (customer groups) to notify on the outage.

Any help to move in this direction would be highly appreciated

Instead of using SMS center, you can create a custom DocType and call your SMS API using server scripts from there.
