Currency Symbol on new APP

Hi All,
I have developed a new APP and need to show the currency symbol selected … How does ERPNext loads from start the Currency Symbol and shows in all forms?
I have created my Company single doctype and linked the currency to the Currency doctype of Frappe… now where to I insert code to have the Symbol loaded or shown ?

Is the field a Currency field?
