Custom Doctype in native ERPNext module

So I have a custom app, and I want to make a new doctype that will show up in the HR module. If I just make a new doctype in that module what happens on update? How do I ensure that the new custom doctype in the HR module gets saved somewhere preferably in my custom app?

You can set the module where it appears in config/desktop.py in your app. In the doctype, select the module of your app

it’s worked for me once, but i can not add other doctype in under Appraisal :disappointed:
