Custom field that fetches data from another form/table in stock ledger

Hi.
I have created a new field in stock ledger called Department from employee table.

while issuing stock, i want to enter department as well,
when i add department during stock issue, it don’t appear in stock ledger. I am new at ERPnext, kindly guide me.
